My next author talk will be for the Rotary Club of Mermaid Beach at 12:15 pm on Wednesday 13 February.  I'm looking forward to that.  I will be talking about both of my published novels, The Election and Calvus. Speaking engagements this year are looking good.  There are plenty in the diary and I'm sure there are more to come.

I had a great morning at Probus Club, Mt Tamborine yesterday.  I talked mainly about Calvus but touched on The Election too, and of course my background and my journey to becoming a published writer.  I am currently in communication with other organisations and it looks like shaping up into a good year for author talks and book signings.

I've had my first review of Calvus and it is positive. It is by Anastasia Gonis and can be seen on the publisher's website:  www.morrispublishingaustralia.com.au in the "News Update Blog" section.

Just received the publisher's November sales report too and there have been sales in Australia, the UK and the US through various outlets.  It's looking good for 2013.

NEW BOOKS

I recently sold five copies of Calvus to members of a book club in Brisbane.  I'm not sure how sales are going overall as I await some form of report from the publisher.  However, I will shortly be embarking on a sales promotion of my own to help things along.
