This week I received my complimentary and half price copies of my latest release Agnus Dei.  The printers have done a good job.

All in all the editing and printing process has turned out well. Let's hope the marketing is also a success.

Yesterday's art union ticket sales at Mudgeeraba Market Shopping Centre far surpassed all earlier sales at that venue. Great work from the team.

Busy weekend coming up.  We'll be selling tickets at the Chamber of Commerce meeting at the Boomerang Farm Golf Course next Friday morning 27 June, then again at Tallai Golf and Country Club Friday evening from about 6:00 pm onwards.  Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th we'll have a presence at the Mudgeeraba Show.

People seemed very interested in the first prize, a trip for two to Nashville and Memphis.

Wow. Five years after publication I've had a marvellous review, albeit oral, of The Election.  Nice to know people are still interested in the story.

Great night last night at the Woodchoppers Inn. We sold oodles of tickets and promoted the Muster itself at the same time. The Woodchoppers have kindly agreed to sell tickets and to match one for one each ticket sold to a customer.

Tickets on sale today from 9:00 am at Mudgeeraba Shopping Centre.

After that we will be selling tickets from about 6:00 pm onwards at the Tallai Golf and Country Club on Friday 27 June.

The team will also have a presence at the Mudgeeraba Show on the weekend of Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July.

I can shake off everything as I write; my sorrows disappear, my courage is reborn.  Anne Frank.

A rare truism from a teenager.

I've just been doing some surfing on the Internet. My new release Agnus Dei is available from an amazing array of online bookstores around the world.  Here's hoping it is 'discovered' by those looking for a good read.

This year's event will be bigger and better than ever. Already artists are contacting the committee to try to get a spot on the programme.

The art union to raise funds to help support the event is well under way.  Tickets will go rapidly now that we are moving closer to the event.

Our new sponsorship manager is now on board. It's all systems go!

I had a great day at the Gold Coast Writers' Association annual literary lunch on Sunday. It was good to catch up with old friends.  The guest speaker was my friend Kay Danes OAM and  her talk was both informative and entertaining. The Association is lucky to have her as a patron.
