In an unexpected twist the Brisbane City Council, who I've offered to do talks for at some of their libraries, are asking their library providers to acquire 5 copies of The Election from me so there could be five more sales coming up, hopefully followed by some 'author event' talks in Brisbane.
Following on from the success of my talk at the Helensvale Library on the Gold Coast I've been invited to do a repeat performance at the Runaway Bay Library later in the year.
I will be doing a reading from my manuscript Calvus at the Gold Coast Writers' Association meeting this coming Saturday.
It should be an interesting, positive year.
